Having a session with Elizabeth is a laid back, all about fun, let loose kind of experience. The more laid back the parents are, the more fun we will all have together. A typical session lasts about 45 minutes to two hours depending on the age of the child or children and how many people are involved. Elizabeth allows time for snacks and drinks and a clothing change. During the session you will never feel rushed but instead we will all enjoy our time together.
Elizabeth uses only natural light so outdoor sessions will be scheduled in the very early morning at the location of your choice. Indoor sessions can take place in your home if adequate light is available. The experience begins as soon as you call or e-mail Elizabeth with an interest in a session. You will find Elizabeth prompt, sincere, polite, enthusiastic and professional.
Newborn Sessions
Newborn sessions take place in the first ten to fourteen days of life. Elizabeth jokes that she will meet you when as soon as you get home from the hospital. Contact Elizabeth early in your pregnancy so she can reserve a tentative time based around your due date. These sessions always take place in the client’s home so that the newborn will not have to travel.
The Gallery
Just a few days after your session you can check the blog for a little sneak peek of what fun images are coming your way! Within two weeks of your session you will receive an e-mail letting you know your gallery is ready. Elizabeth or Andrea will book a time for you to come to the studio to place your order. Once your time is booked, a link to a slideshow as well as a private online proofing album (containing 25 to 35 images) will be sent. The album will remain online for 14 days. During this time you are welcome to send the link to family and friends where they can order online. After the 14 day gallery expires, all images will be removed from the site. Should you wish to extend your gallery, you may do so for a $50 fee.
The Ordering Session
Please allow 45 minutes to an hour when you come to the studio to meet with Elizabeth or Andrea. You will have the opportunity to view the images on a large screen, see all the products, and get expert advice and suggestions.
